Amino Energy is very versatile and can be used for multiple purposes towards both cutting and bulking goals. Unfortunately a lot of the value around Amino Energy diminishes depending on how much of the product you need per dose. If you’re someone who loves a strong amount of stimulants, then you’re going to end up spending a lot more money on this one. It may be wise for you to look at something like Scream or VPX Friction. But for those who are beginning, or who like an energy boost (not to a crazy level) then Amino Energy would be a great option and I would recommend it. My girlfriend still loves using this once and a while. All around, decent supplement.
The value of of Amino Energy is a bit tricky to rate. The price per serving ratio looks great at first glance, but it will vary depepnding on how much you like to take all at once. If you take the lowest recommended dosage, it comes in at about $0.54 per serving. But the average person will tend to want something close to 4 scoops, which brings it to about $1.08 per serving. Still a pretty good price.
This is one of the categories where Amino Energy offers up some choices. With each single scoop, you’re adding another 50mg of caffeine to the point of your liking. This is a great way for someone just starting out to gauge their tolerance by slowing adding more as the feel comfortable. I suggested Amino Energy to my girlfriend, and she was happy for the choice to take her dosage up slowly. Her preffered amount was around 3 scoops, where she felt energized but not to the point of jittery (which she hates). They use a combination of Caffeine, Taurine, Tyrosine, and Green Tea extracts to provide the energy and focus.
In the endurance category, it still fairs pretty well. It uses a combination of Beta Alanine, BCAA’s, and L-Citrulline to help keep your muscles going strong throughout your workout. It loses some points here without any B Vitamins, or electrolytes included in the formula. It will depend on how much you take, but it was nice to not feel a crash following my workout (I used 4 scoops). The energy and focus felt like it slowly dropped off over the next couple of hours.
Strength Gains- 6
Next up, we have the strength category. Being Creatine free, Amino Energy loses some big points here. It does use Beta Alanine to help your muscles push a bit longer than usual. I also like to see Betaine HCL to help out in this category. The Beta Alanine will give your skin that tingly feeling by the way.
The Fruit Fusion was fantastic! It tasted like Kool-Aid with a bit of a kick to it. And from other taste ratings I have collected, the general thought seems to be the same. So far Orange, and Fruit fusion seem to be the most popular. And no reports of any problems with mixing either.
